About us
Everbay is a boutique wedding photography studio founded by Martin and Susan Slechta, specializing in refined, artistic storytelling. We document weddings with a thoughtful balance of documentary authenticity and fine art elegance.
To us, a wedding is more than just an event—it’s a deeply personal milestone, a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of the people who matter most. That’s why we take the time to truly understand each couple, ensuring that our work is not only beautiful but also intimately connected to who they are. Taking on a limited number of weddings each year, we focus on each story with the care it deserves.
With a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, we work with both digital and film photography, creating timeless images that are carefully curated and printed on archival paper. Beyond photography, we craft bespoke, hand-finished pieces—custom-painted photographs and art objects that transform memories into tangible works of art.
Our work has taken us across the world—from the hilltops of New Zealand and the vineyards of Tuscany to the historic streets of Prague, the underground glacier caves of Iceland, and cities that never sleep like Las Vegas. Along the way, we’ve been honored with recognition such as “Best European Wedding Story” and “Best International Wedding Series.”
Beyond photography, we’re passionate about sharing our craft. We’ve been invited to speak at leading industry events like Way Up North in Rome and BodaF Barcelona and to teach at renowned workshops such as The Wolves at La Graciosa and The Legacy in Paris.
For couples looking for wedding photography that is both personal and enduring, Everbay offers a tailored, boutique experience.

Photography has always been about preserving what matters most. Becoming parents to our son Ben has deepened our understanding of time—how quickly it moves and how photographs hold onto what words cannot. More than ever, we see wedding photography as a way to preserve the moments that matter most, the ones you never want to forget.

Weddings are deeply personal to us, and we believe it’s only fair that you get to know us beyond the lens. Our own love story has shaped the way we see the world—how we document the fleeting, meaningful, and deeply human moments that make up a wedding day. If you’re curious, we’d love to share stories of our own engagement and the small, intentional details we brought to our wedding.

Life has a way of presenting unexpected turns, which we embrace with enthusiasm. One such thread led us to our endeavor outside of photography, to restore a 1730 “summer castle”. With deep respect for its past and a vision for its future, we are working to safeguard its delicate charm and fill its spaces with new memories. Let’s embark on this journey together,
crafting memories one frame at a time.
